All systems are go at this "high-caliber" hotel "in the heart of everything" that's "just been redone" in preparation to become a Crowne Plaza; Texas trippers tell that the "tastefully decorated" rooms" are "huge", the bedding "top of the line", the lobby "beautiful", the restaurant "cozy" and the atmosphere "friendly for families"; minor gripes include a nonexistent indoor pool and "traffic noise", while an "excessive" parking fee is partially offset by a free "shuttle to the hospitals."

The clean of the bed is great .
The staff was not friendly ( without a smile ).

The parking was very narrow - although the location in highway - try to get rooms from the other side - generally its fine.

Easy access to where I needed to go; clean room.
Highway noise; water took a long time to get hot.

The hotel is decent, restaurant food is good. Nothing to rave about however if I have to visit that area of Houston again I may stay here.

Don't like sweet n low artificial sweetener, prefer equal or splendor.
